Centreville is a town in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 71,135 at the 2010 census. Centreville is approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of Washington, D.C. Centreville is part of the Washington metropolitan area and is located at Interstate 66 and U.S. Route 29 (Lee Highway). Centreville is home to many historic sites, including Centreville Historic District, which encompasses roughly 200 acres (0.81 km²). Other notable sites include Centre Ridge Mansion, Robert Portner Brewery Company Warehouse, and Sully Plantation House Museum—all listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as Ellanor C Lawrence Park, which contains three National Natural Landmarks.
